Create pirated copy of windows X P.

The quick answer is no you can't, as many files are only on the original cd. This problem sounds like you only have the restore disks and want a copy of the install disk. If that's the case, the best workaround is to 'ghost' the installation then you can replace the OS anytime on the same machine, AFTER backing up your files!

No keys would even be required for the exact same machine.

However, if the purpose is to install the OS on a different computer, say a replacement unit, then an original setup disk would be needed. The easiest way to get a copy of an original disk (other than buying one) is to borrow and copy a disk from a friend. This would be perfectly legal provided you have your own install keys, as you suggest.

One additional thought: It might be possible to create a new installation CD if you have access to the CAB files that could have been loaded onto the computer with the original install. Simply copy the CAB files to a CD and you shouldl be good to go. This is only a remote possibility if the original install was done by loading and installing the OS, however.

Haven't heard of CAB files? I hadn't either, but it turns out that CAB files are files with the extension .cab, which stands for cabinet. Finding CAB files is either dead easy - they are located on the root directory (C:) - or they are impossible to find.

Realistically, the idea of copying the CAB files is pretty remote, because only a limited number of independent manufacturers (ma and pa computer stores) use this easy to find method. Major vendors use a different method of managing the installation process and the CAB files tend to be spread out and buried. Even the extension names have been changed to confuse the innocent.

It's really just much simpler to copy a buddies CD if you have a legal copy of the OS already, with working key

Bicycle potential

Increased government attention in recent times has evolved for stimulating growth in the rural sector in India. Transport, if analyzed for the cost-benefit analysis for rural poverty alleviation, has given one of the best returns in this regard. Road Investments in India were a staggering 3-10 times more effective than almost all other investments and subsidies in rural economy in the decade of 1990s.

Road investments are a pseudonym for investment in transport. Another integral part of increased mobility through transport in the rural areas is the bicycle ownership. What a road does at a macro level, the bicycle supports at the micro level.

BicyclePotential.org in that context explores the idea of using bicycle as one the best means to eradicate rural poverty in India. Analyzing researches and experiments done on the subject, it figures out the immense unnoticed potential bicycle has for rural growth and poverty reduction in India, since:
Per capita bicycle ownership in India is dismally low (1/7) compared to other developing nations like China and Brazil .
Price of bicycle in India , in relation with the per capita income, is 2 times compared to other developing nations like China and Brazil .
Experiments done in Africa (Uganda and Tanzania) and Srilanka on hundreds of households have shown that a bicycle can increase the income of a poor family by as much as 35%.
Transport has shown to have the second biggest potential to eradicate rural poverty in India in last 4 decades. Increasing bicycle density to a normal level would induce a lot of rural growth.
The main reason that is apparent for a low bicycle density in India is the higher relative purchase price for a family compared to other nations. (Please click the figure below to see a better version).
If the purchase price of the bicycle is reduced by 50% by providing subsidy, it will cause a huge spurt in bicycle ownership in India and subsequent substantial productivity increase.
The subsidy thus provided will be straightly targeted to the lowest strata, leak proof, and having long-lasting effects for years. Over a longer term, it would increase the productivity of about 20 crore poor people.
Such a subsidy will cost a mere 1-2% of total Central Government subsidy outlay.
It is ironical that to support transport, huge subsidy is given on petrol, which is consumed majorly by middle class households, but not on bicycle, which is used majorly by poor households.
Even if rural roads are there, a dismal bicycle density means a bottleneck for the rural transport.

How to Start Building Wealth at a Young Age?

While saving money for later in life is a worthwhile endeavor, it is also prudent to begin developing a portfolio that provides at least a modest amount of money for an individual during their adult lifetime.

1
Save money in a savings account. Shop around for the best rate.

Gerber Life College Plan Give Your Child A Head Start To College. Start Small & Save Big!
www.GerberCollegePlan.com
If a child save $4.00 per month at 1.0% interest, it will be worth $505 at the end of ten years as opposed to $480 if you saved at home in a jar.
If a child save $4.00 per month at 2.0% interest, it will be worth $531 at the end of ten years as opposed to $480 if you saved at home in a jar.
If a child save $4.00 per month at 3.0% interest, it will be worth $559 at the end of ten years as opposed to $480 if you saved at home in a jar.
2
Buy bonds. The treasury department sells a variety of investment products.

Series EE savings bonds can be purchased directly from the treasury online or from your bank. They pay interest at a fixed rate (announced May 1st and November 1st each year). Interest accrues monthly and compounds semiannually (every six months). Bonds held less than five years are subject to a three-month interest penalty. The minimum purchase is $25 for a $50 EE Bond when purchasing paper bond certificates. They are available in denominations of $50, $75, $100, $200, $500, $1,000, $5,000, and $10,000.
At the end of a year, a child who saves $1.00 a week for investing can buy a $100 bond for $50. At 1.4% interest, it will be worth $57 in ten years, but regardless of the interest rate, it is guaranteed to reach $100 in 20 years, effectively creating a return of 5%.
I bonds can be purchased directly from the treasury online or from your bank. They pay an annual interest rate that reflects the combined effects of a fixed rate and a semiannual inflation rate. Interest is added to the bond monthly and is paid when you cash the bond. Bonds held less than five years are subject to a three-month interest penalty. The minimum purchase is $50 for a $50 I Bond when purchasing paper bond certificates. They are available in denominations of $50, $75, $100, $200, $500, $1,000, and $5,000
At the end of a year, a child who saves $1.00 a week from for investing can buy a $50 bond for $50. At 4.84% interest, it will be worth $74.26 in ten years or $99.21 in twenty years.
3
Buy silver coins. Investment opportunities for young people are quite limited. Silver proof coins are an easy way for young people to invest. They are available, beautiful, and tangible; however, the market is highly volatile, for example the price soared from $1.64 to $16.30 per ounce between 1970 and 1980 and then dropped to $4.07 by 1990. In 2000 the price was $4.95 and in 2008, the price was $14.99.[1] Check prices before deciding if this a good investment for your goals.
4
Save up for your first share of stock. If you only get five dollars a week in allowance, you could save a dollar a week for a year and be able to buy one share of Revlon, Atari, Sirius Satellite, Denny's, Six Flags Inc, Sun Microsystems, TiVo, LeapFrog, Ford or La-Z-Boy (among others). Read more at One Share dot com.
5
Save up for your first direct stock purchase. If you can save up $50-$1000, you can buy Kellogg, McDonalds, Hershey, Home Depot, or Disney (among others) directly from the company without opening a brokerage account.
6
Open a Roth IRA. A Roth IRA is an individual retirement account (IRA) allowed under the tax law of the United States. Named for its chief legislative sponsor, U.S. Senator William V. Roth Jr. of Delaware, a Roth IRA differs in several significant ways from other IRAs.[2] It is the magic of compound interest that makes this such an exciting investment for the very young.

If a 15-year old contributes $2,000 a year until she is 18 and makes an average annual return of 9% on her investment, she'll have more than $370,000 saved by the time she is 60.
If a 15-year old contributes $2,000 a year until she is 60 and makes an average annual return of 9% on her investment, she'll have more than $1.2 million saved by the time she is 60.

Tips

Review your investment, your income, and your interest earned with an accountant after some time has passed. Do this periodically as you become older and are contributing more. See How to calculate return on equity
Just let your money grow. Try not to spend any of your IRA money or interest. If you never touch it, it will be worth a tremendous amount when you get older.
Determine the yearly cost of any Mutual Fund against creating your own Mutual Fund of Exchange Traded Funds ("ETF's"). If the latter is selected, always look for the cheapest ETF's to own and don't select narrow focused ETF's. The investment firm you choose can help you with this option.
Try doing some research on investing and impress your parents with a briefing. They might even give you enough to start a small investment fund. It doesn't take much. Maybe $1000 or less.
It's a good idea to build a relationship with an accountant early. Accountants can help prepare your taxes, keep track of all of your financial area, and ensure you are investing properly.

Warnings
Transfer fees at One Share dot com are very high; however, the stock certificate is likely to increase in value as a collectible. Research this investment carefully.
You must have a paycheck in order to invest in a Roth IRA. You cannot invest money earned through babysitting or cutting the neighbor's lawn unless you file an IRS Schedule C (Profit or Loss From Business) with your (the child's) tax return.
If you wait until you are older to get your ROTH IRA, you may be out of luck. Only people who earn less than a certain amount of money per year are eligible for this investment option.

South Indian Superstar Nagarjun, How He Has Brought Up His Children!

When you sit with a superstar who is the son of another legend (Akkineni Nageswara Rao), you expect attitude and a bristly impatience; what I encounter is a total lack of superstar nakhras and a down-to-earth attitude. “Dad kept life very normal for us. He ensured we worked for whatever we got. We would regularly be sent to our village Denduluru to connect with our origins. When I wanted my own car to drive to college, he insisted I go by the local bus. In retrospect, I must admit I made all my friends in those bus rides, some of them are with me till today!”

People with Low Self Esteem

Was today going thru Shiv Khera's 'You Can Win' again. Was compelled to post the features of people with low self-esteem.

I have many relatives who take the world as described in the lines below.

I never realized these traits were due to low self esteem!!

-------------------------
From Shiv Khera's You Can Win :

People with poor self-esteem judge a person's worth by his possessions, not by who he
is. They constantly look at what kind of car you are driving, what kind of home you live in,
what kind of clothes and jewelry you wear. They forget that people make things, and not
vice versa. People with poor self esteem place more emphasis on net worth than self
worth. Their lives revolve around ads and fads.

Brass best bet to store water: Indian and UK scientists discover

Brass best bet to store water: Indian and UK scientists discover

Ancient Indian wisdom that drinking water should be stored in brass vessels for good health has now been proved scientifically by researchers. Microbiologists say that water stored in brass containers could help combat many water-borne diseases and should be used in developing countries rather than their cheaper alternatives, plastic containers, researchers said.

Microbiologist Rob Reed, at Northumbria University in the UK who led the brass study, was quoted by Nature as saying that on a recent trip to India, he witnessed villagers doing exactly this. But he also heard an interesting piece of local wisdom: People believe that traditional brass water containers offer some protection against sickness. The idea, Nature added, intrigued Reed, who was in Asia investigating the anti-bacterial effects of sunlight on water. He has found that bacteria are indeed less likely to thrive in brass water pots than in earthenware or plastic ones. ‘‘It’s one of the traditional ideas of water treatment and we were able to find a microbiological basis for it,’’ he said.

Reed, with his colleagues Puja Tandon and Sanjay Chhibber, carried out two series of experiments. In Britain, they filled brass and earthenware vessels with a diluted culture of Escherichia Coli bacteria, which can cause illnesses. They then counted the surviving bacteria after six, 24 and 48 hours.

A similar test was carried out in India using naturally contaminated water. The amount of live E. Coli in the brass vessels dropped dramatically and after 48 hours, they fell to undetectable levels, Reed told the Society for General Microbiology’s meeting this week in Edinburgh. The key to the result is copper, which can disrupt biological systems, Reed explains

"The most valuable thing for us"

Narayan Murthy- A name synonymous with integrity, shear intelligence and wisdom. Despite being at the helm of India's one of the most powerful companies (I remember Vladimir Putin, then Russian head of the state, going to Infosys campus at Bangalore and meeting him to request to set-up a center in Russia also, and then the Chinese premier going to meet him, and not the other way round, that he goes to meet them when they visit India!), Murthy has remained an utterly down-to-earth man, following principles of righteousness to the very root. Although many industrialists have achieved success by adopting every possible- right or wrong- mean, I admire Narayan Murthy, Azeem Premji and Ratan Tata (yes, still) very much for their achieving success following a path of truth and exemplary honesty and concern for the customer.

Here's an excerpt from Murthy's last address to Infosys this week as he retires, and what a moment of time he picks down his memory lane to sum-up his success in the last line!!

"It is not easy for me to deliver my last address at this forum. As I speak, a mosaic of images from the past whizz through my mind. The list seems endless, and it would be difficult to narrate them all. The day we assembled in my tiny apartment in Mumbai to decide that respect from every shareholder was the most valuable thing for us, was momentous."

Investing at young age

The Benefits of starting early in the Investing game. The first Individual saves only till he is 28 years old while the second starts to save from that age. By the time they retire the first is 250% ahead of the other inspite of having saved for only 8 years.
